October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month
ZKW has initiated a new project to support the women we serve.
We will celebrate the courage of these brave women who have moved into transitional housing by gifting them a
“Birthday Blessings” package.
ZKW Board member Lorri Nagle
is leading the project.
Who We Are
Zelda's Kitchen Witches is a non-profit organization located in the southwest suburbs of Chicago that helps women and children affected by domestic violence.
We provide new kitchen items to women and children moving into transitional housing, empowering them to lead independent lives.
Why Kitchen Witches?
The kitchen witch originated in the Scandinavian countries years ago. It is said that she brings good luck and assures a smooth running kitchen.
Help raise awareness and end stigma about domestic violence, and most importantly
speak up and offer resources to anyone you think may be in an abusive relationship.
